This property and all inclusive vacation was terrible. The pictures are not accurate. It was much more run down than expected, the buffets were limited and one day mangos were available and the next day they weren't. Food wasn't coded properly - ex it said carrots but it was zucchini. We were in a near fatal accident with my 3 children on an excursion with Amstar in association with the hotel and no one even asked us if we were ok. The driver of the snorkeling excursion fell asleep at the wheel and went into oncoming traffic and into the brush. My three kids were terrified, and no one even asked if we were OK. It was traumatic. We arrived at the beach with a 3 foot mountain of seaweed, brown ocean water and a terrible stench. It was so bad we only got two beach days. The mini bar barely had anything in it. I would prefer going back to Cuba and will never go back to the DR or a Bahia Principe again.

Staff were amazing. From the porters to the cleaners, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful when needed. I would go back. It’s a kids resort, so keep that heavily in mind. The facilities were good, and there was what to do for the whole family. Dining options were diverse and getting around the resort was easy. The entire resort could use a coat of paint. The caulking in the bathrooms needs to be redone, and the restaurants could use some air conditioning. Checkin and check out was quick, the restaurant bookings and room service on their App made it very convenient. Water parks were fun. Pools were extremely crowded and at times felt a little scummy with the amount of sun screen from so many people. Swim up bars were good but busy at times. A thank you and a small tip seemed to go a very long way with the staff, they would go that extra mile to make your day. Great people, good resort, needs a little face lift. Would go back.

Just finished my visit at fantasia and I have to say, I would give this a 1 out of 5 stars. This resort looks run down. So here is my break down below. 1 day arrive sat the hotel room, sheets were stained had to get new sheets. Mosquitos were everywhere in the room. When to the buffet and it was all disgusting. No flavor nor nothing, deserts look like but has no flavor whatsoever so ever. We slept on a rock hard bed. Day 2- went down and had breakfast, same thing as dinner, bland and tasteless. Only good thing was overcooked omelette, bacon, juices and fruit. We went and complained about the room and they moved us to another room, in the new room, the toilet leaked when flushing. Pool areas were nice and my kiddo loved playing on the slides but pool side bars for food were plain and boring. Lunch dinner was at Paridiso, get the lobster pasta, prob the best thing we had as pasta was fresh. We went to the front bar there and the drinks were good. Wehad requested more towels and extrpillow three tiems before i had to blow up the manager and compla again. Day 3- breakfast at circus was better than buffet. Went to the pool and had pool side bar pizza, no bueno. Went went o have hamachi at mako, it was ok, better than buffet. Good luck getting there, no staff speaks English and impossible to get them to understand. Day 4- did the same thing as day before, but by this time we were ready to leave. With the lack of edible food, La gormet was not good, avoid it.

It’s a really big property and has multiple resorts within the same area. The staff is not geared to manage the same. Minor nit for some but the staff is not very pleasant to interact with.

I had my pool bag "stolen." I left my belongings on two lounge chairs: hotel towels, my purse, which contained valuables like a cell phone and my prescription glasses. The rest were pool items, plus flip-flops around the lounge chairs. We went into the water with our son and stayed for about 30 minutes. When we returned, there were two people in our spot. At first, we thought we had the wrong spot. We asked the people if they had seen our things, and they said it was empty when they arrived. We called security and explained what had happened, but instead of being welcomed, we were constantly questioned as if we were wrong and might have been robbed. They said we had to follow procedures by filling out a form, which I completely understand. However, the security guards showed no empathy whatsoever. Since I had left my phone in the room—only my wife's was in the bag—I thought I could locate hers using Find My iPhone. We could see her phone moving through the app. I tried to show them, but they were more concerned with the procedure, sometimes being rude, as if it were our fault for the disappearance. In the end, they pulled up the camera and saw that, in fact, two people had taken our things, gone after them, and recovered them. When they returned them to us, there was no apology. I felt completely unprotected and neglected by a place whose purpose was to rest and relax. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and will definitely never return.

We had an excellent vacation and the experience at the hotel was very good. The only recommendation I would make is that the food buffets have too many dessert options, and they could increase the variety of food by reducing the desserts. However, the meals were very good and of high quality. The water park area is excellent for traveling with children, as they have a great time and enjoy it a lot.

Excelente estadía nuestras vacaciones en bahía príncipe fantasía el personal muy atento y un servicio excelente y recomiendo mucho al camarero José del Larimar además el Kids club es súper especial y todas las muchachas son espectaculares con los niños además de un chofer de los carritos que te ayudan con la transportación el wuipiwuipi súper persona los pondré en las fotos para que vean quienes son los mejores
