let me state that I travel often to these kinds of resorts and this is my fifth time in the Punta Cana area. I felt as if the rooms were in need of updating specially in the bathroom area. Some of the patch jobs through out the years like caulking, painting, tile work was subpar. The room would be cool through the day but at night, in the middle of the night it would get warm. This happened every night. Then, I could hear all commotion outside from music to people talking, yelling in the hallways. This went on until 4AM most nights. The walls and doors are paper thin. Our room was near the "Party" pool which would host daily music and activities which was fine during the day unless you are a day time napper and one night it went on until 11PM. In your room, you hear every noise outside. I heard people talking, yelling for long periods of time in the hallways which would keep you up at all hours of the night. During one specific night, at 3AM, i heard yelling and partying and i figured it was in the hallway but no, it was from the room across meaning even from room to room you can hear the noise. There is no restaurant unless you are part of the club membership to go and sit beachside only the dinner portion at one of the restaurants. The rest of the restaurants are located in The buffet area which also did not look nice. There was nothing special about the restaurants with the exception of the French one. Overall 5/10

Wander and Ellie (the concierge) gave top notch hospitality from beginning to end! Food over at the spoon was great as well. Friday night pool party was everything! Champagne Saturday was great as well. The beach had a lot of seaweed but it was ok. Overall, we will be back!

I would give this a 5 star but I felt I was being swindled into doing the 200 spa package. The more it was explained to me and what I needed to do to get the spa package the more I felt as if there was a catch to it. This was given to me as I just landed and entered the resort. I had a long flight and just wanted to check in and relax. The next morning I was supposed to meet up with staff at 8:30 am to eat . I just wanted to eat but was told that I would have to listen to one of the members give me information while I eat about a subject and offer they had that I had no interest in

The grounds of the hotel are nice and the food at the restaurants was good for an all inclusive. But the rooms are plain, no reason to upgrade to anything special because the rooms get bigger but you have the same options and offering in a lower category room. There were maintenance issues in the rooms, a/c not working properly, water leaks (more like a rain shower) from the a/c, used linens on the beds and black outs in the room. Decent parties and music. There is a Casino that was barely used by guest but nice if you want to hang out later after the nightly party/club. They have decent entertainment. Overall it’s okay, not worthy of the 5 star rating, more like 3 stars. Good luck if you book.

We enjoyed our stay and would return. Plenty of lounges at pool and beach. Nice activities offered. Room was great. We faced one of the pools. Would be great to have some of the information written down as people who told us had strong accents and hard to comprehend. Definitely would go back.
