Older hotel but well maintained! The bed was super comfortable and lots of amenities

Asked front desk about air conditioning. He reset at outlet.."should be fine" Not! We had to sleep at 76 degrees all night. This place is a dump! Go someplace else!!

Room smelled clean when I checked in. Nice towels! I stayed on the first floor. TV volume didn't work so front desk gal came & fixed. They should maybe monitor the "weed" smokers as the whole hallway snelled like pot around 8 pm.

I can't say enough kind things about this hotel. Many of those staying here are here due to the hospital across the street (not all, plenty of travelers too). The employees here have been nothing but kind, accommodating and a pleasure. I stayed beyond my original date due to some medical delays and they worked so hard to make it easy for me. My TV input somehow got switched and they very quickly addressed the problem. Housekeeping has been so warm and helpful each time I've needed assistance. I have not been down to eat the breakfast but I see plenty of people taking advantage of it each morning. They always have popcorn and cookies at the check in counter for guests. The rooms were updated and very clean. My only humph if I had to give one is the beds are a little firm for my taste. If I needed to stay again I'd probably bring a rolled up foam pad to put on the bed and then it would be perfect! It's honestly not bad enough for me to complain over but I try hard to always be transparent in my reviews. If you are there to visit the hospital it is a 2 min walk from the hotel. You won't have to drive over unless you have mobility issues. The side of the neighborhood the hotel is on has felt safe and secure, this isn't the case around all areas of the hospital. I have walked back to the hotel on my own at night with no fear. Many of the hospital staff tend to park this way so there are usually others around. Easy parking for hotel guests as well!
