We appreciated having a larger room, plenty of light, and a kitchen with a small dining table. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The grounds were well maintained and the pool area was nice (though we didn’t use it during our stay). The breakfast was your typical free hotel breakfast - good but not great. The dining area had plenty of tables but the food area was quite tight. While we had no issues with the a/c, it felt “damp” in our room especially during the night. We liked having a balcony though due to the (small) width, we had to turn our chairs sideways to be able to sit out there. We enjoyed our stay at the Palmera and the pros definitely outweighed the cons.

My stay was wonderful with exception of my room thermostat being stuck on 75 degrees. Too warm to sleep comfortably. Other than that and the unlimited fees. It’s a great experience.

I was skeptical to rent because we were just looking to rent a partial week and this place was a lot cheaper than other places I was looking at. We were so pleased with this property. Unit was clean, in a great location with beautiful views off the balcony. Close walking distance to the beach. Good location on the island. The property is beautifully maintained. Good fishing ponds for my boys. Great courts for pickleball. The owner of the unit called to check on us and to make sure the unit was in good condition when we got there. Will definitely vacation again here!

Front desk customer service was awful. The worst

From the very first moment of our arrival, the staff was very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel and location for walking around the River Front area in Savannah. Pool and rooms are nice as well. However for a 4 Star hotel the parking attendants and staff are not as friendly as you expect. If you do not need a pool, I would pay a little more and stay at JW Marriott nearby.

Don’t hesitate to stay here. We could not have chosen a better place to stay!
