The best thing about this place was it was right on the beach but that's it. The unit was dirty there was a bug in the bed when we pulled the sheets back, the comforter had a cover over it but the edge of the comforter was dirty, the dish towel was folded nice and cute on the counter when i opened it to go use it there was what looked liked dried spaghetti sauce, the pull out couch was broke so we ended up buying air mattress but of course we did not see this until bed time when the office was closed, the floors were dirty even after I mopped twice and the bath towels had holes and were old and worn. The manager did offer us to move but we had 6 people and a lot of stuff there was no way we were moving it all again. Last thing the AC took about 3 days to get to 72 and this was probably because one of the sliding glass doors was opened behind the curtains that is not a door you go in and out of so it was not noticed for a few days.

It was a large beautiful room And they were there to help if you needed but left you alone and happy

Horrible!! They absolutely over price these rooms. No way anyone should pay that price for these conditions. I booked and paid online & when I show up a surprise fee now needs to be paid, which was not on the site whatsoever nor when they messaged me directly did they tell me. I had no choice but to pay it. The outside hotel is disgustingly, dog poop in bags right outside my unit for days. The room was DISGUSTING, no one can ever tell me they clean those room. Hair, bugs, dirt on the floor. Kitchen is disgusting. The toaster started smoking when we tried to use it. I bought foods for the 4th and what I had on the counter I had to throw away as they are infested with ants. So I wasted so much money doing that and since I discovered it the evening before the 4th I couldn’t even replace it so the celebration did not turn out the way we planned. When I advised the front desk all she said was oh you can’t leave stuff out, it’s normal. No ma’am. I live in florida and I leave foods out on my counters all the time. I think our neighbors live there full time. We were two girls and they made us VERY uncomfortable, today at 7am like 7 police cars for those people! My last morning was filled with fighting, cops & giving statements. The door HA lol the knob/lock is falling off, a child could break in. We had to push furniture against it. Zero sleep cause of those neighbors who party all night and fight. And lastly, you’ll smell weed all the time in your unit. HORRIBLE!

I recently stayed at the Hutchinson Marriott Beach Resort & Marina and found both positives and negatives. The location is excellent, with beautiful beaches and plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. Bathtub Beach, which is only about five minutes away, was fantastic for snorkeling and was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff throughout the resort was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the rooms and buildings are very outdated. The television frequently glitched and was difficult to turn on and off, possibly because the remote batteries needed replacing. The room lights would unexpectedly turn on during the middle of the night, and the timer settings were confusing and difficult to adjust. The bathroom and living room ceiling also appeared to have mold that had simply been painted over, which was disappointing. I paid an additional $150 per night to upgrade to an Ocean Villa. Based on the condition of the room, I don’t feel the upgrade was worth the extra cost. For that price, I expected a cleaner, more modern, and better-maintained room. Overall, the resort’s location and friendly staff made for an enjoyable vacation, but the accommodations need significant updates to justify the price.

The room was clean but had a bad smell to it
