Great location , beautiful suite , staff is very welcoming .. and knowledgeable

First we tried to find the place and the entire road was blocked off for construction and the road was dirt. Then we attempted to contact them to find out what was going on through hotels.com and the clerk said that there was no problem or construction going on, a complete lie. Attempted to get money back because we couldn't get our luggage through the dirt and didn't want to carry everything 8 blocks and through a construction site, which should be perfect understandable, but they wanted to play hard ball. So, I will publicly denounce them to my many followers on every social media site.

We had a lovely two-night stay at this fully renovated historic hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful and professional. Although hotel is located outside the heart of Old Quebec, most restaurants and shops are a pleasant short walk away, through charming alleys with art galleries and artisan shops. Our only minor concern was that the main-floor rooms were somewhat dark with windows viewing the back walls. Overall, this was one of our best hotel experiences in Quebec City!
