Pleven Vacation Packages

Basic but done me for what I needed. No restaurant but a good one over the road. Bus stop right outside if needed and small shop and food van opposite, big supermarket 5 mins walk away. Towels changed daily. On main road so a bit of noise.

the hotel is very close to the airport. They have a free shuttle that needs to be booked online in advance . They have a small. room where they have early breakfast (all night long, I believe).

Staff was very helpful

Unfortunately, the carpet in the room was stained and unacceptably dirty. Ruined the stay. Bathroom is tiny, and strangely, the heaters put out heat despite being turned off at the control. Made the room stuffy if the doors weren't open. Towels were like frayed rags. At least the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

Great value for the money. Very good central and convenient location. Good breakfast. Only one issue was the design of bathroom. Shower head is located in a bad location so water keeps spreading to the floor. And toilet has a very strange jet design so make sure you close the cover completely before flashing.

The hotel easily exceeded my expectations. The hotel is a modern conversion of an old building with before and after photographs on the staircase. It has art exhibitions, art showroom, bistro and a cellar bar with a terrific record (vinyl) collection and occasional live bands (but don't worry, there is another floor between the basement and first floor of bedrooms). The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned daily. Location-wise I found it perfect for exploring Sofia on foot and clean and comfortable to return to at the end of the day.
