Stayed st RIU Palace next door last year and was impressed so our group decided to stay at this location since it had been renovated recently; however, the experience was less than pleasant. The staff was rude and rarely acknowledged you even when you said hello to them they seemed bothered. The food was the same everyday with very little flavor. The steakhouse was less than impressive with the ribeye being more like something you would get at a Norm's or local cafe. This was however the only restaurant that did require reservations. I did want to say that I had the most pleasant experience with William at this restaurant and he was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Aside from that the Aesthetics of the resort are nice but everything else is blah for the most part. Definitely will not be visiting this resort again but would definitely recommend the RIU Palace next door when it reopens.

An unforgettable stay with an incredible sunset view. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was exceptional. Our room was extraordinary — beautifully designed, comfortable, and with a stunning view that made it feel truly special. Having our own private pool was an amazing touch and made the stay even more relaxing. The common pool area was another highlight, especially around sunset. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sun go down over the ocean from the hotel was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every little detail seemed thoughtfully taken care of. Between the spectacular location, incredible views, beautiful room, private pool, and outstanding hospitality, this was easily one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had.
