Area was nice, couple restaurants nearby. Breakfast, only hot item is a waffle , hard boiled eggs, yogurt, not fresh bagels, coffee machine was not good. Room was great, very clean.

The staff who was working when I checked in was great. When I checked out on Tuesday morning, the girl was less than friendly you could barely hear what she was saying. If you don't like your job, quit! But, greet your people with respect and courtesy regardless. I was up there on a trip to see my mom, because we were moving her into in - home hospice. And the whole property just had a damp feeling.

Room was ok our bed had a ripped sheet and only had 1 shower towel for 3 people was not happy about that breakfast was not so great either

This historic property is worn, but it may be getting updated. Our very large room had a comfortably sized newly renovated bathroom, but it seemed to have been designed by a 15 year-old boy with extremely limited experience actually using a bathroom for grooming purposes. There was a small but adequate corner sink with tall narrow mirrors on each side set at a 90 degree angle. It was impossible to get a view of one's face that didn't have a big line down the middle. Also, because of the placement of a shelf and towel bar it was almost impossible to use the hairdryer in a way to see oneself in the full length mirror on the back of the bathroom door. Our room was large and could easily have accommodated two small chairs and a table. It had no coffee maker, no refrigerator and only one chair. Bed was comfortable. Our reservation included a $25 credit for food or beverages in the restaurant. We were unable to find any restaurant, there were no signs. Next morning we found a closed bar with 5 or 6 tables set for a meal. There was nothing in the hotel open for breakfast. There was an empty coffee carafe in the lobby with no milk or sugar packets and a tray that had some crumbs on it, so presumably somebody got muffins or something. We just left. When staff has no experience staying in a hotel and little training it puts the onus on the guest to ask for everything. That's a drag. Stay was disappointing.

This is our fourth stay at this hotel, and we feel comfortable writing a positive review. We keep coming back, because it is fair priced, conveniently located, has hot free breakfast in the morning, and we enjoy our stay every time. Our room was clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. The room appliances were all working and the air conditioner kept our room at a comfortable temperature. We had no problem parking our car and truck, there were plenty of spaces. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back, as we have family in the area.
