There is no elevator so that was a little bit of a pain, but there are only two floors. Unfortunately, the pool was not open until the last night of our stay, so we spent much of our time in the lobby playing games or away from the hotel. The room was spacious and clean.

If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast vs a continental menu. We met one of the owners and he was gracious with his time and key historical notes regarding the house and previous owners.

The room was huge and we loved the bathtub! The pool was our favorite part and the fact that room service delivered drinks….awesome!

Stayed for only a short time but the establishment was clean and the staff really pays attention when cleaning the rooms.

Excellent hotel. We will stay here again if we are in Greensboro!

My ONLY complaint would be that the vending machines only take cash. That's the only thing I can say that isn't positive. One of my best stays ever

Nothing here was clean and none of the photos match the property. The pool was filthy with live bugs and no chlorine. The lounge chairs were unclean and moldy. The front desk is almost never there. Everything in the room was dated, musty, and smelled like decades old stale cigarette smoke.

Just the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced in life! The bare minimum is always cleanliness.
