"Excellent location, extremely helpful staff"
The location was awesome - right next to the old town, plus the main bus stop was right there in case you wanted to head anywhere else. The staff were all polite and very helpful. All in all, a great experience

"Great hotel near all major Siena attractions!"
We had a quadruple room for 3 people and the room was very comfortable. My adult daughter was able to have her own private area with twin bed, desk and TV, with a door to close to our room. The hotel was very clean and the included breakfast was excellent each morning! Location was perfect for getting around Siena, which we enjoyed during the weekend of the Palio! Many restaurant and shops nearby with a Pizzeria right on the corner that was excellent! An easy walk to the bus station which was the designated meeting place for some of our scheduled daily tours (Cinque Terre, wine tasting in Tuscany, and a trip to Cortona, Assisi, Perugia). All in all a great place to stay while in Siena!

"Nice Hotel Close to the Ferrovia (Train station). "
This hotel is closely situated near the top of the escalators of the train station. A short bus ride or longer walk gets you to Siena Center. This was perfect for us as we didn't want to lug baggage around town as it was towards the end of our trip. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. If all the escalators from the station are working it is situated perfectly. The hotel gratefully had an elevator so it was easy to get the bags to our room. It has a nice breakfast buffet and endless on demand hot drinks. Vegan and vegetarian options. We started to hear an alarm quite early in the morning which kept going off intermittently. Unfortunately our bedroom window was right next to a cross walk. Nothing to be helped but a bit annoying.

"A different stay in an old Monastery."
This was different and not quite what I was expecting. Turns out we booked the cheaper old monk's accommodation which was rustic but quite comfortable. Do not expect typical hotel amenities - this is a bit like camping but in a dry warm place with some comforts. The amazing thing is the age of the place and the fact that we were staying in a room that had been inhabited by the local monks for centuries. Breakfast was the usual continental style and was well presented and adequate. You can book higher quality rooms here, but I urge you to give this a try - and it wont break your credit card. Be careful to check what the arrangement with stairs is. Our room which had 2 bedrooms and slept 4 had one room up a steep staircase in a loft. OK for us but some may struggle.

"Second stop of our Honeymoon."
This is a magical hotel - and I've stayed in hotels all over the world. The second stop of our Honeymoon and it simply could not have been any better. The hotel has bags of character, the rooms are wonderful and clean and well appointed, the terrace is a thing to behold and you may never leave to see the other sights (!) and the staff were excellent in every respect: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very efficient. Caution though: it is 3/4 of a mile walk (up hill) from the hotel to The Campo and you do need a taxi from the station - unless you are super fit! The parking is great - if a squeeze to get into the car park - and the hotel is very well located for day drives out into Tuscany. Would we go back? ABSOLUTELY!

Pianella is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pianella, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pianella hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
