There was mold in the bathroom and the room smelled like humid. We had no other place to go it was late when we checked in. We advised the front desk of it and they could not do anything about it because I booked through a third party

We've stayed there before in building 1 and the rooms are okay but this last stay in building 3, we killed 5 cockroaches in the bathroom and the floors were dirty.

The room had a terrible smell. Bathroom was not cleaned foot prints on the floor and hair on floor. Was disappointed in the cleanliness of this place. If I could have cancelled when I seen the room I would have. I will never visit with them again. Staff was really nice tho. Only thing I liked

OK for one night

This is a no frills place to stay, especially if you are flying out. I had 3 bars of soap but no shampoo in my room. That's ok, I just don't remember it being mentioned. My room did have a little kitchenette.

didn't go as planned

When traveling alone I am ok with staying at low cost/you get what you pay for type places for the most part. Unfortunately, this wasn't all that inexpensive, and the stay wasn't all that great. The staff was ok, not overly friendly, but not rude either. The location was ok but there was a lot of traffic noise in the room. The room though had some issues. Big gaps between the door and the frame, stains on the bedspread (the single blanket provided), and small little towels that aren't changed under the pretense of "environmentally friendly" (this place is not alone with that, of course). The cockroach problem though was out of hand. Smashed cockroaches on the floor and the wall and live ones running around. I ate dinner in my room, got up for a few minutes, and came back to a roach in on the wrapper. First time in Phoenix so I don't know if it's a regional thing or not. Probably won't be staying here again the next time I'm in town.

Questionable!

On the surface the place is comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, I had to kill 3 cockroaches; 2 in bathroom and one in living/bed area. Had I not had this experience, I would have given Studio 6 a VG score.
