Well this visit was subpar . There was no breakfast . There was debris in the hallways . The pooll had several children unsupervielsed. Some people were smoking . . My hair dryer was notvworking . The front desk wiman said they would bring one to my room . Yes it was never brought to my room .

Everything is just OK here. In my room, there was a half eaten plate of food in the refrigerator left from a previous guest. Bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice. In late evening and out very early morning so didn’t get any other views of the property.
This property is really rundown and desperately in need of an overhaul. I thought I was booking at a Wyndham Garden which this property was as one time. It is now a Choice hotel but I don’t believe it’s meeting that company’s expectations. I think they are very short staffed to the extent that service and safety are affected. The elevators were running very slowly until they stopped working altogether. This is a 6 floor property. The parking lot lights were not on and the property does not feel safe. On the plus side, the shower water pressure was strong but the temperature markers are backwards. The pool looked nice but there were 2 chairs in it this morning.
We had to take the stairs because a customer set-off the fire alarm by smoking in his room. The stairwell had not been swept in some time. Dust, dead insects and trash was in the stairwell. The receptionist never briefed us on the serving of the breakfast meal. The front and back double glass doors had fingerprints all over them. Every time that we went out and came back in our room key demagnetized. Our room was on the fourth floor. I had to come downstairs, get the key recharged and then go back upstairs again. It appeared that the management team was struggling to maintain the hotel adequately.
