I’ve stayed at a lot of Home 2 Suites, usually love them. This, however, feels like they just slapped the branding on an old hotel, room size is smaller and bathroom still has original tub etc..

It looked very nice on the site and with Hilton being attached to the name I expected more but i was disappointed. I received an email telling me that a room would not be available til 3. Went there approx 3:30. The front desk person seemed to take a long time to come out of the back office. I made noise to get his attention. It took quite some time for him to complete the reservation info. Looking at the computer screen for quite some time. Went to our room and it was a 2 room suite with a King Bed. Back down to the desk to tell him that my reservation was for 2 queens since i had a guest with me. I was told there were none available and since I made the reservation through a 3rd party the room type is not guaranteed. I asked for a refund and said I will go somewhere else. I was told I would need to go through the 3rd party. OK...but then At that point he found one. What I had on my reservation. The room was nice -I wouldn't say good...but Clean. We were at the end of the hall where the interstate was practically at our window. Sleeping was quite difficult between that and the noisy air conditioning. .....will not stay there again and concerned about any Home2 by Hilton BTW - garbage cans outside and in the patio are were overflowing

The rooms were nice and big, with a sofa bed and queen bed in my room. The issue was the air conditioning unit was not working properly and was loud and causing the room to shake. Had to move to a different room. The first evening the front desk staff was using her phone with the volume quite high and I had to ask her to turn it down @11:30pm. Quite inconvenient, but the second night was quiet and we were comfortable.

Avoid at any cost

Awful breakfast, best to avoid if you value your health. Hotel is right next to the motorway, guarantees you don't get any sleep. Aircon is extremely noisy in all rooms, so best kept off. All windows sealed shut, so no way to get any fresh air into your room. No room service and cleaning is only done every second day. Could go on and on but in summary: avoid Home2 Suites! There are plenty of 3 star hotels for the same money, just 5min walking distance, that have supreme service compared to this place.
