Terrible breakfast experience

Not a single ice machine on the property was in working order. The breakfast wasn't very good. On Monday, breakfast went from 6:00 am - 9:00 am. I came down at 6:05 am. They had scrambled eggs and mini cheese omelets. The eggs were barely warm and they had no ketchup. I asked the attendant and they said they were out. The accompanying sausages were literally cold. As if they weren't heated up properly after being taken out of the refrigerator. To boot, the coffee urn was empty. So it must have been there all night and not mad fresh.

The room was clean but the ac didn’t work and it was so hot In there! Also the curtain didn’t close all the way which made it very difficult to sleep. We were honestly disappointed with this stay and we normally move the Hampton Inn but this one was just not so good!

The outlets in my room were not working but they were fixed soon after. I stayed 2 nights but my room was not cleaned in between nights. Furniture was shabby & tattered. Bathroom was nice. TV wouldn’t turn off with remote. I had to unplug it.

When we were arrived we were told that our 2 rooms weren’t available because of a flood. The guy didn’t seem to care and showed no empathy. We asked why we weren’t called, he said that it had just happened. Meanwhile we were checking in the early afternoon, so I’m sure and the hotel was just overbooked. He called another property to find us a room, but it was booked. No surprise. It is graduation weekend, and we booked these rooms 10 months prior. Our family of 5 was stranded. If there was a flood, we should have been notified. We booked two rooms for two nights each. The customer service was horrible.
