I had to attend function at Academy of Music which is just across the road. Place is pretty quiet and peaceful and really clean. Parking is also convenient considering it’s downtown. Plenty of restaurants in just walkable distance.

Beds and pillows weren’t comfortable. Many things in the room were falling apart and there was lots of water damage in the bathroom. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper because our room barely had any. The air conditioning unit rattled when it ran and the remote to the tv worked when it wanted too.

We had an issue with a leaky toilet in our room. Though it was an inconvenience, the staff and maintenance was great trying to accommodate the issue. Overall a good experience. I would stay again. The breakfast buffet is on the high side but definitely delicious

My husband and I took a trip to Philly in 2011 and stayed at this DoubleTree Hotel. Everything was perfect which is why when my family and I took our trip last week, it was no question where we would stay. I was very disappointed to see that 14 years later NOTHING had changed. Even down to the wallpaper and that white feathered chandelier in the lobby. This hotel met my family’s basic needs for shelter but it’s definitely time for an upgrade.
