The water doesn’t get hot for showers or in the bathroom sink, the AC only works in the bathroom but does not work in the rest of the room, so in the living room where the sofa bed was that area was hot.

Nice hotel, very nice staff. The bed was creaky and uncomfortable. The bathroom layout is strange. Toilet is very close to the wall. The shower door/glass is odd. You have to be in the shower to turn it on, so you get hit with the first cold blast of water.

I like that the lobby was nice and it had a Star Bucks in the facility. I did have a problem with the shower; the tub filled with water when taking a shower. The water did not go down the drain fast enough. I did call maintenance but they did not come right away and i had to leave; I wait close to a hour. I was not leaving someone in the room when i was not there. I was going to call them back when I return but i was only staying one night so I figured I just suck it up and take a bath and shower at the same time.

1. Please stop installing barn doors for the bathroom. They are loud to open and close (at night when someone is sleeping) and provide zero soundproofing (people are awake hearing others go to the bathroom, brush their teeth and shower-ridiculous!). 2. We needed to use the pull out sofa as I was traveling with my two children. I called down for a blanket and pillow, which were never delivered. 3. We were in town for a funeral and stayed two nights. We did not receive maid service on Friday even though we had left the room by 10am. It was disappointing to come back to the room after a long day not to find fresh towels or the room spiffed up. 4. I honestly think the hotel thought we were there with a travel team, but we were not. We've stayed at this location a few times and there are always kids running up and down the hall at 1am. I'm not sure what can be done about that, but the barn door, lack of maid service, lack of blanket and kids running (oddly less of a concern as I have children) was not what I had in mind. The DoubleTree should be better. This felt like a 2 star hotel.
