The sheets and towels seemed clean but the toilet was not. The owners also owned the convenience store and gas station so the desk wasn’t manned all the time. The door did chime to let them know someone came in. The breakfast only had packaged muffins, toast, cereal and instant oatmeal. It had a small size waffle maker. The jam for my toast was rubbery. Coffee was fine.

It’s a bottom line hotel, pretending to be something different. If it wasn’t new, I would’ve left and drove till I found something more suitable. Union Pacific is very large in the area and they have numerous hotels like this one and it houses the workers. Not really a vacation destination.
