"Perfect slice of Scottish hospitality"
Everything from the welcome to the check-out was made effortless and hassle-free. The staff were superb (special thanks to the chefs for catering for gluten-free food for my Coeliac daughter) and we had a wonderful stay in a beautiful venue.

"Traditional comfortable hotel"
The staff were very welcoming and had no problem with an early check in.. My room was freezing and an engineer arrived promptly and after a short time declared there was a problem he couldn't fix. A porter was dispatched and a new room was made available very quickly. It was handled well with no fuss. I liked the staff attitude. Very welcoming. The rooms are very pleasant and I had good room service and a nice buffet for breakfast. A. very central convenient location

"Nice surroundings"
Overall excellent but noisy if a wedding is on. We were located on the first floor and in the small hours of the night drunken guests were very noisy in the corridors.

"nice hotel"
reception staff are useless. far too slow. can't even hand keys for my room whilst on the phone. can't do two things at once. waiter at breakfast useless too, took wrong order tried to give us someone else food and someone else drinks. other than that lovely clean room very comfortable, i got a deal cheaper than the full room rate. i don't think i would pay for the full room rate. snacks in the room on the tray were far too expensive, not enough free nespresso capsules for coffee machine, got 4 and one of them was a decaf. shower was beautiful. i had 3 showers because it was so nice. We decided to stay in the hotel for a meal on the night time we both had fillet steak and was lovely, my only criticism was the peppercorn had way too many peppercorns in, very overpowering. we had a bottle of malbec with our meal which was also lovely and complemented the meal beautifully.

"Gem of a Hotel/Castle"
Fantastic short stay at the unique hotel. Perfect for golfers who are looking to play in the Mussleburgh area, North Berwick, Muirfield, Gullane, Archerfield area. We were met at reception by the wonderful Lynn, she took care of us from the get go. Very warm welcome and very cosy hotel, unique rooms and sitting areas. Fantastic breakfast. Vey modern bathrooms and the shower was great. Beautiful building and grounds. One of my favourite hotels in Scotland for sure. Only 3 star but should be at least 4 if not 5. Thanks for a memorable stay

"A quality hotel in a great city location"
We arrived via the airlink bus and had an easy check in. Room facilities were excellent with complimentary whisky and daily newspaper. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice of hot and cold items. We were given bubbly and chocolates on our anniversary day - a nice touch.

Pathhead is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Pathhead, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Pathhead hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
