Property smells like a doggy daycare

It is obvious that this property is pet friendly. The halls smell disgusting with pet odor. My room, the bathroom, smelled like dogs had lived inside for months. We were in room 133. I will never stay at this place again. The lady at the front desk spoke so fast with broken English that we could barely comprehend anything. The carpet needs to be replaced at the entire property due to the pet odor. Pillows are rock hard.

I was SHOCKED when I left that I received a $25 DAILY resort fee. Expedia never informed me of any resort fee, and the front desk never informed me about a resort fee. When I called to have the resort fee refunded, the manager and front desk said that the fee was for wifi, appetizers and parking. I get FREE wifi since I'm a Hilton Honors member, and the front desk told me that they had FREE appetizers. PLUS, they're connected to a parking lot with a supermarket and other vendors, and countless parking spots. Nevertheless, the manager informed me that it was "NOT POSSIBLE" to refund my resort fee. "NOT POSSIBLE" or simply "NOT WILLING" to refund my surprise resort fee??????? Would NEVER recommend this Hilton DoubleTree. They should be embarrassed, but the hotel owner is simply collecting his "resort fee" dollars during the off-season and certainly doesn't care!!!!!!

Nice hotel - we've stayed twice. Location is great, with free public transportation right outside the door that takes you all over Park City. Rooms could use an update, but they are clean and spacious. I didn't love the bed/pillow, but that's just personal preference, and my partner had no issues. Lobby is cozy and breakfast buffet was very good. Will stay again.
