Good location close to metro. However the room (Feeling Good/Junior Suite) did not have central heating or a heating unit. There was a space heater in the room only. The shower/hammam was not separate so the room got humid/foggy quickly. The wallpaper was peeling. Switch cover for the lights was not attached to the wall. Seems it may have been nice initially but now not upkept. Nice lobby. Honest bar at night.

We really enjoyed staying in this R&B and Rock and Roll themed, very friendly, well located hotel in the 9th arrondissement. It was quiet and clean with a comfortable bed. It was a bit unusual that the shower was in the main room, but it adds to the eclectic charm this hotel offers. Every room is decorated differently. The front desk staff were very friendly and spoke English very well. We wanted to stay another night, but they were booked. Breakfast was enjoyable. We will make thìs hotel our first choice when we return.

Good bang for buck, but very poor sound insulation

The value for money is great at Idol Hotel: Good service, comfortable bed and not too far from the Metro. However, the sound insulation has a lot to be desired --- you will hear other guests as soon as they open the door. As an establishment frequently visited by tourists, they will wake you up late at night or early in the morning. As long as you check in with this expectation in mind, you will have a enjoyable stay here.

Our stay was excellent, the staff was very helpful with everything. We had a little issue with the air conditioning unit not working in our room and they immediately switched us to another (better) room to make up for the issue. They location was also perfect and very centrally located. I recommend this hotel highly!
