Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and helped us with all queries. The art deco interior is done in a great way. The rooms were tight but they have large windows that provided great natural lighting. My only complaint is that housekeeping wasn’t always consistent but it wasn’t a major issue. The hotel is in a vibrant area with amazing food, shopping, and close to many transport links. The oyster bar next door is great and the rooftop bar provides a great view of the city including the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Cœur. I’d happily stay here again.

The hotel has some very nice features. The rooftop bar has great views, although terrible wine. The breakfast is quite nice, but there was confusion as to whether it was included after our first day, and we got a E40 surprise. The room was small of course, but well appointed: Nespresso machine. Mini-fridge. Big tub with nice amenities. The problem was the location. If we turned left out the front door we were soon surrounded by strip clubs. And no charming restaurants. We eventually discovered that if we turned right and downhill it was much better. But the reason we would not stay again is that it is not within even a long, brisk walk of any of the major Paris features. If you want to be near Montmartre then this is good. But if you want to explore Paris, it's too far out.

I liked the location of the property and I was able to walk to convenience store, restaurants and souvenir shops. The carpet on floors in rooms needed cleaning and the noise in the hotel was extremely loud on the last day when we had to get up early to get to airport for return flight. When I tried to call the hotel desk to complain about noise, I only got an automated system. I was not asked about hotel stay on check out.

Sleepless nights

Our room was very small had a hard time moving around. At night was too noises, I’m not sure what was going on but we were on the 7th floor and music and noise was heard ever night until 12 o’clock except for Friday night the noise did not stop until 2:30am and we had a early morning flight Saturday morning. Didn’t sleep at all that night. The noise sounded like someone was scraping the floor and then it was like someone dumping water, then scraping again all the while music played.

I love Paris and especially Montmartre and Pigalle so it was great to stay at Hotel Rochechouart. Fabulous location with Pigalle, Anvers and Abesses metro stations close by for exploring further into Paris or just stay local and follow the footsteps of Amelie, Edith Piaf and Henry Miller. Wonderful and stylish rooms and a fantastic view from the cool roof top bar. I’ll definitely be back

Very much enjoyed our stay there! I liked the location of the hotel, near Montmartre, but not near the over crowded streets. The 9th floor bar with a great view is a plus! Employees were pleasant and helpful. Only complaint would be very limited menu at Maggie restaurant

Nice stay, executive room with a lovely view

Lovely authentic French hotel, room was pretty tight for two 50lb suitcases! (We are en route to Morocco for 3 weeks, so wee needed a lot of hiking gear and a few suitcases for my pre hiking conference!). We made due but you could not do a push up in the room! Major issue was low output of the air conditioning, but they brought a fan to help. Thank you! ROof top restaurant is tops! Nice place to watch the sun set and virtually 360 degree view.

Magical rooftop and easy location

We loved our stay. The hotel's team is so kind and friendly and the ambience is gorgeous. We hired Velib bikes from near the hotel and explored the city for three days and Montmartre is an easy walk. Amazing. Cute bars and restaurants south of the hotel away from the touristy area. A drink at the rooftop bar is a must!
