Brilliant hotel, staff very helpful and polite, rooms extremely clean, tea,coffee and water downstairs at reception. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely quiet area but plenty of bars. Luxemburg gardens is where the train stops (from Charles de Gaulle airport.) 15 min walk to the Louvre. Number 86 bus which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel takes you to the Effiel Tower. First time in Paris, female solo traveller - I felt safe throughout my exploring and going back to the hotel and whilst in the hotel. Will definitely return

Great location

This hotel is located near the major metro and buses. Breakfast was so awesome, I'd like to visit again just for the breakfast. The room was a bit small. Other than that, it was an awesome place to stay except summer- no ac.

Hotel is further away from St Germain area so I did not feel secure walking late alone through smaller secluded streets had I gone out. The single room was very small as was the bathroom. The carpet was stained and sink did not drain well. Shower floor was so so. Bed was comfortable and clean. One towel was rough like a rug. Staff was very nice. Great price but rooms need love and cleaning.

The front desk staff were amazing…super friendly! Rooms are small as are the bathrooms, however the location cannot be beat. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and walking distance to all major attractions. Wifi was spotty at times but we didn’t spend much time in the room for it to bother us.

Small Convenient Perfect😃

Great little find! Small friendly hotel, so clean. The girl at reception was so lovely. And the guy there the next morning (who I hadn't met before) greeted me by my name, which was really nice. Location is absolutely perfect, Odeon Metro stop is 2/3 mins walk away. One small problem...no air con in my room.. But definitely stay there again.

Excellent location! Lovely amazingly helpful staff. I had a Superior room which was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The only real drawback was that we struck a heatwave and there was no air conditioning, but a fan was provided. Overall I feel this was a good choice.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, clean room and bathroom, quiet street. The Grand Hotel des Balcons is close to churches, restaurants, sights and shops, all walking distance. No a/c or ceiling fan so it gets hot in the room.

I loved how clean it was, the service was spectacular, the location was exceptional close to everything, the metro was a 5-minute walk away, the bus was a 4-minute walk away, the only bad thing was that we were a little hot because there was no air conditioning or fan

Best little gem in Paris

This hotel is a gem just 15 minutes walk from the louvre but far enough away on a little street with plenty of locals bars and restaurants. I will stay there again
