Very nice room and great breakfast

Spider webs in windows and both sinks. Office never open. Full kitchen but no pots or pans. No larger knives. No dishwahing soap. Floors very old and no longer glued down. Bedding stained.

Wife and I booked cottage #10 (King Suite). The room was very small, smaller than expected. That was not a problem, since it was only the two of us. The place was nice and clean. The room has a laminated sheet that alerts you to the thin walls and how easily sound travels between shared-wall cottages. Any footsteps in the cottage above ours (9 and 10 share a wall, another cottage is above both) were registered by us and somewhat loud. The only bad part of the experience, but not bad enough to go below 4 stars, was the fact that the hot water heater is inside behind a very rickety accordion door. That made the cottage very warm and humid. The towels were somewhat damp because of this. On the bright side, this could be fixed easily at night by opening the cottage door and patio door for a cross breeze to cool down the room. There is no A/C. We stayed in the middle of summer, but it wasn’t bad, and I’m from Alaska. It’s not close to anything of interest besides the beach itself, so bonus if you’re here for just that! It’s a very short drive to town. Had a great experience overall for two nights!

The room we had was really quaint. The hotel is a little creaky but has so much character. I was obsessed with the stainless windows and doors. Luckily we weren't there on a particularly hot weekend but it was warm and the provided vintage fans were so cute! The hotel was clean. If you're looking for a cute vintage stay with a lot of character but not DUSTY or dingy this is definitely the place to stay!

We were greeted by the owner upon arrival. He was knowledgeable about the area. We arrived about 40 min before our check in time without realizing it. It may have interrupted the service to our room. We were in Unit 1. There were dirty towels hanging behind the bathroom door and a slight odor in the unit. The bed was comfortable and the lighting sufficient. The amenities were lacking. There was only one coffee mug in the kitchen and no shampoo and body wash in the refillable containers in the bathroom. I think the owners work hard to maintain the resort and hope this was an oversight. It’s quaint and close to the beach in a beautiful area. Plus, there are chickens and we were provided food to hand feed them. Loved it!

Facility was clean and well presented. Beds comfortable especially the king sized one. My only recommendation is to have a regular coffee maker as I'm not into espresso.

It was exactly what I wanted plus a little. Property is undergoing some long overdue improvements. The upgrades are great. Hosts ( owners?) are friendly and helpful. I want the little credenza that was in my cabin lol. Thanks for a nice stay.
