The room smelled like a cat litter box.

The check-in process was smooth, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I encountered a problem: the room had no windows with any outside view. I understand that the property offered rooms with views of the bay and ocean at a much higher price, but I opted for a less expensive option and didn't mind forgoing the view. There was no indication anywhere that the room wouldn't have a window overlooking the outside, except for one window that faced the hallway. In all my experiences staying in hotels, I had never come across a room that lacked a window to the outside.

Staff was polite and accommodating. Rooms were clean. While the motel is dated, the price was fair for the time of year and was a adequate place to sleep and shower for a night.

This was such a beautiful place - very clean with a cozy breakfast nook and a fabulous pool.
