Our room window in the bathroom was broken and insects and a small lizard got in and my husband had to capture them. Also there was a lot of construction going on around the property. The alcohol selections were limited and should have more variety. The food was really good, but should have more options on the menu especially for a Caribbean Island.

Wonderful quiet resort

Several tips if you’re looking at this resort 1 some of the beach is rocky- best sandy beach is in front of buildings 19-24 2. Tamarjin is a quiet resort- if you like nightlife go to divi. The beach bar at divi is fun till 11pm They have shuttles but you may have a 15-20 wait for one. 3 overall nicest staff on the planet. But we did have a little issue with a long wait and inattentive server on our second visit to Margot restaurant, hopefully they are addressing that 4 like all large resorts there is always something being fixed, in our case the lobby tile. But they were being as quiet as possible

Our stay was great. We celebrated my 50th bday and the staff made this a vacation to remember. Our room was amazing! Cleaning staff ensured clean rooms daily. The only area that needs to be improved is the food. We ended up eating dinner in the town for two nights.

I really enjoyed the property. Standard rooms but being able to step directly onto the beach was so nice. The room (and resort) was clean and the staff was friendly. Transportation between properties was easy to catch. I liked having the room key as a bracelet. I never had to worry about forgetting it and it was so light that I barely realized it was there. Had a great time!

The resort is beautiful. The views from the room was also beautiful. The areas under the cabanas were not always cleanly. Some areas worse than others. There were broken cups and a lot of debris in some places. The pools closed early so if traveling with kids they couldn’t swim in the evenings. We stayed at Tamarijn and unfortunately our beach was all rocks. This was not convenient when waking up in the morning and the kids wanting to go out to the beach. We had to pack up and ride a cart to get to the beach where they could play. Some of the rooms had sand beaches from the rooms.

The front desk staff was not knowledgeable on the property amenities. Some seemed uninterested to offer help. Other staff members would have conversations with each other and seemed annoyed when guests would ask questions. The Tamarijn location was performing construction work replacing tiles in the main shopping and dining area of the hotel during the day 9am-6pm. This created a lot of dust and noise which happens to be right by the main pool of the hotel. How can one relax and tune out the sounds of a tile saw. Plus, the workers were talking to one another as if they were at the bar having drinks themselves. The restaurants offered great food and staff was polite and attentive. The property was kept clean, the beaches as well.

I enjoyed my stay it was very quiet and relaxing. Most of the staff were nice. The view from my room was picturesque. The restaurant meals were great. Great amenities and many activities offered. Dislikes: drains in the shower and sink were slow to drain, staff trying to sell you a time share when you make dinner reservations, front doorman not acknowledging my friend and I our whole stay after we wanted to take our bags on our own to our rooms during arrival, and food options at the buffet.
