We had a couples trip to St. Louis for an entire week. This is a longer post but the main complaints are the building, parking, and overall quality of our stay. All one star or less. The photos of the property are not representative of what you are getting. Someone did an AMAZING job of making the property look better than what it is. There are pictures that lead you to believe that your room has a balcony....doesn't exist. That is a clever photo of the seating in the backyard. Also you don't get the room that there are pictures of on the website. The room that we got had everything that was listed but again, some very clever bending of the truth. The old building is beautiful!! But the rooms have been decorated and stocked with the most inexpensive items possible. This includes flooring, bedding, ...everything. Our TV turned off if anyone walked across the floor. The AC broke down in the middle of the night.(80 in our room). There was a racoon or squirrel living in the roof(we were on the 3rd floor) that you could hear scrabbling around. Then the parking!!! The website says limited free parking. Technically true. But here is what is the absolute truth. All parking is street parking. The closest parking garage is at least 1 mile away. Street parking is free in the evenings and on Sundays. Otherwise expect to pay from 1.50-2.25/hour and you can only pay in increments of two hours so you have to have an app on your phone and keep on adding money constantly.

Very nice place, with elegant decoration, a generous “continental “ breakfast, very quiet and comfortable room, nearby park, and nice pool and hot tub.

The property was excellent, and the home was very warm and welcoming.

It was so comfortable and uniquely and beautifully decorated! There was so many awesome areas to explore inside and outside of the Grain Bins. Food provided for breakfast was fresh and hot. There was perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and really moist corn muffins with homemade mango preservers! We were welcomed with fresh, homemade plum bread. Instructions for everything available to utilize and operate were easy to understand. I can’t wait to go back and I will tell all my friends and family about this unique and relaxing place.
