We travel a lot but we have never seen such a nice staff anywhere. Shayan is a sweetheart and extremely nice and helpful. My son was sick and one of staff went out of her way to make kitchen make a soup for him. You don’t see these kind of stuff often. Thank you to all the staff.!

Lovely little hotel but if you are at the front it can be noisy at night.Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.Wifi was very 'flakey' but not sure if that was because it was so hot.Free bus / tram travel was very welcome.

The hotel is located near the train and town. The rooms were fantastic and the elevator was a fun experience! Even though the hotel dods not have AC, our room was still cool enough with the fans and leaving the windows open at night.

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location with exceptional staff. Not all of the windows have fly screens and there were numerous wasps and other flying insects outside. Because of this I did not feel comfortable to have the windows open, even during the recent heat wave. Appreciate that air conditioning units cannot be fitted due to the age and character of the building but fly screens should be achievable. There was a fan in the room and this helped for me but even so, my laptop got very hot and would not charge. Later when moved to a cool location, it was fine. I would love to visit again but probably not during a heat wave.

This was a nice stopover, it was right in front of the tram station. Staff was friendly. Stay came with a free public transit pass and discount card for basel attractions. Few minutes by tram to grocery shops, train station and museums. Very walkable and lovely, near the river. Offer a fan for hot days.

A great hotel with a lovely buffet breakfast in a very good location right near tram stop.most things were walkable and buses and trams right by the hotel.
