Location location, close to the best attraction and restaurants. Rooms are small. The breakfast is good, although the amount of people having breakfast is a lot.

Cool atmosphere

Nice and spacious room! Loved the private bathroom and rainfall shower-head! The water pressure was excellent! Our view was not great (we had partial views of the street out of the windows). Other than that wonderful stay..would stay here again!

Unfortunately, our stay at the Park Lane New York was extremely disappointing, particularly considering the approximately $1,200 per night we paid. The one genuinely positive thing I can say about this hotel is the location. Being directly across from Central Park is incredibly convenient, and the hotel is well positioned for enjoying Midtown Manhattan. Unfortunately, the experience inside the property did not come close to matching its location or its price point. The hotel felt dated and poorly maintained, and our room looked old and was not properly cleaned before our arrival. Most concerning, we actually found discarded toilet paper on the floor inside the closet. At this price level, basic cleanliness should be an absolute expectation, not something a guest has to question. Our first impression of the service wasn’t much better. The Brazilian gentleman who checked us in Saturday evening had a noticeable attitude and gave us the impression that assisting guests was an inconvenience. This is certainly not the type of welcome one expects from a hotel charging luxury-hotel rates. The elevator situation was another major frustration. During an extremely busy holiday weekend, it appeared that only two of the hotel’s six elevators were operating, resulting in unnecessary waits and inconvenience throughout our stay. What makes all of this especially unacceptable is the price. At approximately $1,200 per night, expectations are understandably high.
