This was a great hotel away from everything. We were on the island for a few days and did the usual tourist spots. We were looking for a place that had a pool and other things for the kids. Mill River, has a great pool, games room (fooseball, pingpong, air hockey etc), squash courts, basketball and pickleball. They have eveything there that you would need. It's an hour from the bridge. The restaurant prices were decent, and there is a Foodland within 5 minutes along with a Tim Hortons.

The bathroom wasn’t super clean. It had hairs on the floor, wall and countertop. The common areas were renovated and looked nice but the rooms seem to have gotten just a quick facelift and not as nice as the other areas. The grounds were beautiful.

Beautiful golf course with all the amenities you could ask for. Some issues inside, with dripping airco on the Scandi easy chairs in the lounge. There also was a space with a coffee vending machine for guests and a cute little coffee cup symbol outside. A note on the machine said it was broken, and you got this vibe that it would still be standing there like that if we´d come back in a year. Loved the look of the place otherwise, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing time in the warm pool and the game room. Beds are comfy and room is lovely. Only complaint is the blind shows a lot of light through and the room Darkening curtains are just for decoration and don’t actually pull across like most hotels. Otherwise, we love this place and will be back.
