We had a really nice room with a washer/dryer that was so awesome for this point in our vacation. The fridge was stocked with a few drinks and the apartment was spacious and cool and really nicely furnished and maintained. The staff were helpful and the location was very close to public transportation and within walking distance of many sites.

Great location. Helpful, friendly staff- especially Finn, a standout, especially with our kids. Proximity to public transport was a big bonus. Discounted easy access to Hagenbeck Zoo and the Tropen Aquarium was a bonus!

We stayed for three nights and had a very spacious room with a huge king-sized bed. The staff were really helpful printing out tickets and booking a taxi for us. Good breakfasts. We loved the swap a room clean for a free drink concept! Location was great for walking around the city - about 15 minutes for most places of interest.

Convenient for an early flight out.

I traveled with my young son for 3 nights at the Barcelo. The staff was super friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Maria at the front desk for her great recommendations and Carlos at the concierge for his recommendations and patience. The room was spacious and clean. We slept so well. The breakfast buffet was great and kudos to the sweetest staff member from the Dominican Republic. He was a joy to be greeted by each morning. We are grateful they showed the FIFA matches and we would definitely stay there again with their close proximity to everything. The staff was so nice to my son. Salud Barcelo Hamburg. Muchas Gracias
