Room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast bar was very good. One of the best maintained hotels we’ve ever stayed at.

I should have known it was going to be terrible when I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone came to check us in. The staff were not friendly (at check in or check out). Got to the room and it smelled musty and felt damp. There were toenail clippings on the floor by the bed and trash on the bathroom floor. We had to get housekeeping to come vacuum. The bathtub took forever to drain and would get backed up while waiting for the water to turn hot (which took several minutes). The beds made a metal drum sound when turning over. However, the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good. The breakfast was nasty and cold. The waffles were rubbery, the eggs had no taste and the oranges were green and hard. It was so bad we opted not to eat there the second morning. Our second night we had to park on the street and prayed our car didn’t get towed. There were 4 big construction trucks taking up 5-6 parking spots leaving hardly any spots for the customers. For the price we paid I am extremely disappointed and upset. I understand the prices were jacked up due to it being race weekend but had I known what we were in for, we would have stayed elsewhere. We will definitely not stay there again.

Loved The Gracie Suite! We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character. It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely stay here again and won't hesitate to recommend "The Downtown Post" to family and friends. If you're considering booking it—do it! You won't be disappointed. ❤️ Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Only stayed 2 nights it's a older hotel but good enough for us for a short trip. Friendly staff

We were turned away at 11pm after driving for 13 hours because we had animals but didn’t have the option to select for an animal room. We are currently trying to get our money back. Very unsatisfied..

Good location, the bed was very soft, and the hotel over all is showings its age but clean. Overall a good stay.

The bathroom sink drain was very slow Every big stain on carpet by the bed
