Everything was great.

Okay service.

My go to hotel when I’m in Pittsburgh. Easy to get to, parking garage right below the hotel, and great location with a ton of places within walking distance.

Overall the room and hotel was very clean. I don’t know what jr was before being a hotel but you see remnants of a past life. It’s quiet and quaint. I recommend getting a suite if traveling for two or more. The bedding could use an update and include more lush options and thicker material. The location however can’t be beat. Be prepared to pay hefty daily valet or just park in lot across the street.

The hotel was clean and pleasant. The convenience to the airport with frequent shuttle runs makes early flights easy.

The location is what saves this place. It doesn’t get much better in Pittsburgh. Beautiful view of a gorgeous city. However, parking was an absolute nightmare. We waited in the line FOREVER for the valet, only to be told there was no more room. We were given directions to a parking garage up the street by the valet person. We followed said directions only to be told “this garage is for the condos only.” We turned around and went to the actual parking garage a 1/2 mile away. We walked to the hotel with our luggage and multiple bags, and parking ended up being $64 for 2 days. Unbelievable. We get to the front desk, the staff person was very nice. We told him about our experience with the parking, and he says “oh yeah that’s just our valet.” So I guess it’s been an issue? Lol. The room was ok. It did have a kind of musty/moldy smell though. The bathroom door was a sliding door that was very heavy and noisy. The shower you have to turn on while you’re in it and get blasted with cold water before you can turn the handle. The room could’ve also been cleaner and needed updates. It was also quite noisy, and we heard a lot of noise from other rooms. Breakfast was very good and the waitstaff were incredible. Unfortunately this was our first stay here and will be our last. We travel to Pittsburgh 2-3 times a year and there are much better options to choose from.
