The hotel is nice but the downfall is when you pay a security deposit for the room, the hotel gives you a run around for the refundable deposit. I was told, I should get my security deposit back within 3-5 business days. It’s been well over 2 weeks since I stayed at this hotel and never received it back. When I spoke with customer services, I was told I would get a different amount that was printed on my receipt(which is way less). Not understanding why if I left the room in great condition and never used anything that I had to pay for. Till this day, I never received it. I’m being told now, it will take over 10 days because I used to debit card instead of a credit card. My advice, be on top of them for your deposit back because if you do not speak up, they will keep your deposit.

Not enough beach towel kiosks or pool bathrooms. Very limited foid options due to extensive construction which was not advertised on Expedia. Rooms are not sound proof as promised either. Renting palapa was a bit chaotic as guests tended to take reserved spots requiring the attendants to bump us repeatedly. Lots of towels but long lines with only one towel kiosk for entire resort. Crowded pools with only one bathroom area due to extensive construction. Only one highly expensive restaurant on site plus the breakfast area and resort bar. Mobile food trucks were unsanitary. Expected a lot more for the price. The staff are great though. They are very helpful and working positively under difficult conditions . Would not recommend this hotel until ALL construction is completed .

There was construction so noise in the morning and throughout the day. Also Orbitz didn’t charge the hotel fee so we had a surprise several hundred dollar bill upon arrival. I swear I read this was all included while booking. That’s the only reason I booked it.

this was my 3rd time staying at the hilton which is once again under construction.. The front desk staff was unaccomadating i am a hilton honors member and was offered zero upgrades or ammenites! The property is well maintained and in a great location but i received way more ammenities at the ritz carlton! Not sure i will be returning to the Hilton

This property needs to be closed and not operating entail the renovations and addition of the property is finished. It was very unsafe around the property because of the full blown ongoing construction every day. It was extremely noisy in the rooms, around the pool and at the beach. One of the worst vacations ever. Very disappointing for Hilton.

Even under renovation, the Hilton was a great place to stay. Beach perfect. Lobby atmosphere was great. And most importantly, everyone works there seems to actually care, is friendly , and goes out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. Great hotel.
