The room was so cute. Great location. Staff are super helpful. We have stayed here twice and would stay again.

Hotel was like a jig saw puzzle with lots of stairways and areas. Still had construction going on. Rooms were very nice but no privacy unless you close your curtains. Room safes did not work in either of our rooms. You cannot flush toilet paper due to old pipes. Area did not feel very safe but we did not need to leave the hotel without a guide since the dining in the hotel was great. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

We like this hotel that with its own history and maintained excellently. The location was great for exploring the old city. The breakfast was fanatic.

Hotel Mama Cuchara is a lovely boutique hotel with a great location. The breakfast is delicious and the team took great care of us. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back and stay again next time we are in Quito.

I personly didnt like the idea of stairs in the room. It is too much to climb the stairs everytime you want to use the bathroom. There is no fridge in the room and the doors were too slim.

This hotel is truly a gem. From the decor to the location to the wonderful staff, we had a wonderful stay. It has a great rooftop bar with amazing views and the dinner we had their restaurant was one of the best meals we had on our 17 days in Ecuador. The breakfast was top notch too. The hotel is gorgeous and you are right in the historic center with so much beautiful architecture right at your door step. The staff went above and beyond with helping us get settled and provided us with a lovely welcome drink and appetizer. They also gave us a small bottle of wine and chocolates. I can't recommend this hotel enough!
