The property has character. I stayed in a studio apartment which was comfortable but a bit dated. The food selection at the restaurants were limited and were closer to North American food. The view of the marina and central Tampere was nice.

It wasn’t obvious where the “Main Door” was but once someone pointed me at it, the app to open it as well as the apartment door was great, though it would be nice if there was a deadbolt or other security lock. I didn’t realize it was not a proper hotel but is actually a ghost hotel, with no front desk, luggage storage, restaurant, gym, services, etc. That said, the condo was really nice, spotless, spacious, and had everything I needed. The washing machine was very practical as I was mid-trip and needed to wash clothes. Plenty of dishes, coffee, and I even availed myself of the ice pack in the freezer - watch out for that sharp cupboard corner! I used the WhatsApp chat feature as I had a few questions and they were quite responsive. It’s close to the city centre and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked this room through Expedia and was disappointed to be allocated, once again, a room furthest from reception. While the room was clean and well equipped, it appeared to be configured as an accessible room. Although I appreciate the importance of accessible accommodation, some facilities were difficult to use because the instructions did not clearly reflect the room's layout and features. As a result, we were unable to make full use of some of the facilities we had paid for. When we raised this with staff, we were advised that no maintenance support was available over the weekend. This was frustrating, as the facilities could not be used, despite us paying the full rate for our stay.
