Small hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Great aircon and wifi. Free safe. Comfortable bed, good quality individual toiletries, fabulous thick towels in bathroom. Mini bar in room, everything 1 Euro. Breakfast served until 11.30, good choice of hams, cheeses, breads, fruit, cookies and cakes etc. Great roof terrace with comfortable sun beds, plenty of pool towels and jacuzzi tubs.
Located close to bars and restaurants.
Some visitors may not like the lack of view from balconies as in residential area. But this didn't bother us at all as we loved everything else about this hotel. Would definitely recommend and we hope to go back next year.

We were a little worried about this hotel due to other negative reviews. However we had no complaints during our 3 night stay. We paid extra to be upgraded to a sea view room when we arrived and this was well worth it. We were on the 4th floor of the new building and the view from the balcony was fantastic. We didn't pay for breakfast, but there is a small fridge in the room and so it was perfect to sit and have s fresh orange and croissant out there in the morning. The only two things which could have improved our stay would be in room coffee / tea making facilities, plus information from the receptionist on check in about the in room safe. There is a refundable deposit required for the key for this and so it meant going back down to reception again to organise this. There was then a fault with it and so we needed to go back down again to get this looked at. The response was quick and efficient however and an engineer came and sorted immediately. Overall a great stay, the hotel is also in a perfect location for walking to Balcon de Europe and lots of shops and bars.

The apartments are in an excellent location by the main square so all the amenities are on the doorstep and 2 small beaches are just a few yards away.
Athough we were self catering we were advised that breakfast was included so that was an added bonus.
Our room(003) was at the rear looking out to the pool area. At night it was very quiet except 1 night when there was a wedding on at Cochrans next door when it sounded like a live band was playing. It was very loud but loud music has to stop at 11.30pm so that wasn't an issue. Rooms on the front would overlook the square so would be ideal for people watching though I understand there can be some noise nuisance around 3am when workmen empty the bins.
We always got a sun bed by the pool when we went down about 3-4pm but at high season that might be a problem as its only a small area. The hotel also provides towels for use on the sunbeds so that saved using our own .
The staff on reception were always very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay at these apartments again if I returned to Nerja and highly recommend it..
The only (very slight) downside is that the area around the apartments is pedestrianised so our transport dropped us off about 10 mins walk away which wasn't ideal even though it is possible for vehicles to get close to the main square. I also understand there is an underground car park so there must be some way to get there for private vehicles.

Good hotel, particularly it seemed for the older generation. We are a family of 4 and we wanted a fairly cheap all inclusive hotel close to the beach - which this is. It is fairly dated, however most importantly the hotel is clean and the food is very good, if a little repetitive buy the time the second week comes. The staff are amazing, so friendly and efficient. The pools are freezing and in the shade for
quite a lot of the time (we visited in October). We stayed in room 242, the walls are fairly thin and we could often hear the guests next door.

we were in Nerja for my son's wedding, we had a lovely stay, our only problem was the hill to the hotel, apart from that I would recommend the Marina Turquesa to my friends and family if ever staying in Nerja.

East of Malaga and one of the Costa del Sol’s quieter resorts, Nerja attracts a more mature traveller than its brasher neighbours, and sits atop low cliffs dropping down to enclosed beaches such as that of El Salón. The town’s focal point is the Balcón de Europa, a paved headland jutting out into the Mediterranean. The most popular attraction is the Nerja caves, large enough to house a concert hall hosting ballet and orchestra performances.
