The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.

Overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended

Terry is a great Host. Apartment is very modern and clean. Tery has gone over and beyond on quality. I would stay there again.

We weren’t put on a higher floor as indicated at booking. When questioned we were told there was a leak/problem on 5th floor. Hoping for another corner room on a higher floor [than 1] we were shown alternative rooms that were smaller. Additionally the pillows were stained with red juice or wine. Considering the newness of the hotel more was expected. The front desk manager, Ebony was firm and proactive with training she’ll be a great. However the hotel could do better should be better considering the growth of guests and expected.

We were in our room for 2 days before coming back and found the ac was spilling water all down the wall and onto the table and chair. The staff was very professional and quick with providing another room. Other than that the room was good. The 24/7 food/bar was not 24/7, this is very misleading from what is listed about this hotel and this was at 10pm multiple customers got turned around. The night GM at the bar was on his phone and was very unprofessional with customers and staff that was there. He was so unprofessional and after addressing this at reception we found out he likes to intimidate the staff and customers. Keep in mind we were there at 10pm. The front desk also confirmed the hotel does have this service. The hotel does have book a ride which is like Uber. Their pricingis very reasonable. Highly recommend using book a ride to get around. I did like this hotel but I do hesitate to recommend it after this experience.

​Our recent stay was nothing short of perfect. From the seamless check-in to the spotless, beautiful accommodations, everything was perfect.

Not Recommended Our stay at this hotel was unacceptable on multiple levels. The front desk staff were openly rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, and communication was almost impossible because they did not speak English. In an English speaking country, this is a basic requirement — and the hotel’s failure here created constant frustration and made even simple requests difficult. Housekeeping also could not communicate in English, which meant our requests were ignored. Our room was never cleaned, and despite asking for fresh linen, none was provided. The condition of the room was alarming. The bathroom had visible mould, and a strong sewage smell filled the space throughout our stay, making people feel physically unwell. Roaches were found in the room. The in room safe broke, the door fell off, and instead of repairing it, staff simply placed another safe on top — a clear sign of poor maintenance standards. Construction and drilling were happening in the dining area during mealtimes, with dust spreading while guests were eating. Our window view was completely blocked by a wooden billboard, leaving the room dark and enclosed. The only positive was the breakfast, which offered good variety and ample seating. Overall, this hotel failed in cleanliness, maintenance, guest comfort, and — critically — staff communication. In a country where English is the native language, guests should not struggle to communicate with staff. The hotel must do significantly better.

Kind of pricy for a 6.5 hr stay!
