The front desk guy was friendly but a little too familiar too quickly. Don’t need to know how you “pranked”/sabotaged prior managers, dude. Room was ok, passable linens. The price was right for this old and looks like it hotel.

While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). It was fun to try and figure out what these items were used for back in the day. They have WiFi, a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave so you're not back in the 1900's yourself. It's an interesting mix of eclectic, nostalgic, and quaint. Very nice!

This motel had views of the bridge in Gold Beach. The motel was pet friendly and quiet.

The room was clean but run down And one high window had cobwebs, and was broken. It look like the cleaning staff was also the front desk staff and although they answered questions they did not seem to want to be there. And the frond desk would be closed during the day. The spa was closed permanently. It felt like this place is in the process of closing down.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Gave us several printouts of events for July 4 weekend, local restaurants. Room was clean, had a Birds Eye view for the local fireworks show across the jetty. Enjoyed our stay.

We pulled into this booking at around 10pm. When we pulled up I was easily able to find and open the lock box. Once we parked our vehicle we were welcomed by a group of people who I only assume live here permanently (a little kid ran up and eagerly asked if we wold be moving in too). The room was full of mold in the bathroom and the rest of the room was cleaned in a mediocre way. My kids were horrified and kept asking that we please find somewhere else to sleep. It was too late at night and we braved the night. There was trash everywhere and the view was of garbage cans. There was no one to talk to in the lobby as it was all torn apart and being painted. This place goes down as Mom's worst pick of our vacation. I'm not sure if these other reviews are spams or what, but I'd stay clear if at all possible.

The balcony was nice. The hotel is dated, but was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water. The TV remote didn't work and the limited staff was too busy to help us.
