Disappointed with my Taj stay this time. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the property seemed like it needed updating overall. The famous Taj hospitality and going above and beyond for guests also has seemed to vanish. Simple housekeeping/ guest services requests couldn’t be met, it was surprising to hear “no” from the staff on several occasions. Check in was a disaster on a busy rainy weekend with no help to carry heavy luggage. Overall a very below average experience which is sad because I am a Taj loyalist but will probably find another hotel to stay at during my next visit to India

The location is what makes this property popular but I have had much better experience at hotels of this stature in terms of staff and service. The lobby is also always too crowded and chaotic. If you are not particular about staying in bandra I would 100% recommend oberoi over this.

Service and staff were super friendly. My room was not worth what I paid. The sofas and walls had stains. The room smelled like someone smoked in there, so much I woke up w a headache. I was willing to stay an additional night only if they switched me to another room. The lobby said there were no more rooms available while Expedia said there were 5.
