Staff is clearly over-trained and over-sensitized. In a normal five-star experience, one has the benefits of well-trained staff but not the inconveniences. At Park Hyatt, it is perfectly possible to be disturbed in the room 8 times in one afternoon and yet the room will not have been cleaned yet by 3.30 pm. It is also perfectly conceivable to have a waiter over breakfast suddenly with his head at 5 cm from your head with the question "any plans for today and how may we assist you", whereas the coffee is still not being served. Plates get whisked away while you're still eating. There's loads of staff running out and about yet the wait for a drink is ten minutes. Quite a paradox.
