The hotel's exterior is well-maintained and clean, but the rooms need repairs, such as: The air conditioning wasn't working on our first day. We reported the problem, and they fixed it. Two days later, the bathroom light stopped working. I reported it, and they fixed it. The toilet flush stopped working. I reported it, and they fixed it, but after that, I still had to press the button to flush. There are fans outside that run so loudly at night that it's impossible to sleep. The air conditioning supposedly worked after the repair, but it didn't cool the room as well as it should.

Place was absolutely amazing

The hotel is very close to MRT Hua Lamphong. It's clean though not spotless. There are no windows. The toilet floor tiles can be slippery when wet. I slid twice and luckily didn't get hurt. The breakfast buffet is worth it for 250 THB, you'll be so full that you can skip lunch or dinner. The elevator could be confusing at first but then you'll get the hang of it after a while.

The onsite restaurant had a good choice. The room was fantastic 2 double beds, full bath tub. Reception were lovely they stored our bags until check in as we arrived very early. Walking distance to the big shopping malls

Check in and check out were painfully slow. They have plenty of people behind desk (like 6-7), but they seem to make the process more inefficient. Was 25 min checking in and about 30 to check out. The laundry charges were extortionist - around $35 for 3 tshirts. I should have just bought new ones. Otherwise stay was fine. Amex gave me 150 usd credit but they wouldn’t apply to my laundry charges. Also we came back to our room the second night and it had a terrible cigar smell - must have come through AC as no one smoked in our room. They brought an air purifier which makes me think this is a known problem.

The hotel is right in the heart of Chinatown and where the street foods are. Very good if it is what you are looking for. As the hotel itself it is fine, very good quality price, clean, with all the usual. Nothing fancy but practical. A good spot, nit far from subway either.
