Absolutely incredible stay! The best features were the staff and the food! Every team member made sure we were happy with our room, food, and drinks. They helped plan our excursions and reminded us nightly of our plan for the next day. Would highly recommend a stay at Mariposa Jungle Lodge!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mariposa’s Iguana Family Treehouse! With its slightly magical deck we spotted toucans and listened to howler monkeys. We meandered on the trails, used the yoga deck, and enjoyed the pool and family foosball challenges. The staff doted on us and surpassed expectations, teaching us about the rich cultural history and organizing our transports and excursions. Robelvi and Luis were attentive to dietary restrictions and simply charming while serving delicious meals under the outdoor lights. My family loved everything about Mariposa!

The property was beautiful, the hikes were as advertised and the excursions were well worth the money and hosted by knowledgeable and very interesting people! This place exceeded expectations and we plan to tell our friends about it and hope to return again!

The staff was great, helpful, available when needed, the property was beautiful maintained, pool was beautiful, walking trails, well lit up at night so getting around was easy. The staff had great recommendations and over all we had a wonderful and would definitely recommend staying here. On a side note, we had a kitchen in our cabana and it could have used a few additional items for easier cooking. Otherwise , everything was great!.

The room was very comfortable and the hiking trails are great. We ate at the restaurant only once because it was quite expensive but the food was good. There is nothing to do after dark at this resort. We were out all day on excursions so we never got to use the pool. A hot tub would have been really nice to use at night. They have a sauna but there is an extra charge to use it.

The property is an awesome setting in the jungle with nice hiking trails and pool. The staff was excellent and they went out of their way to help when my wife got injured off site. It is close to many sites of interest in the pine ridge area but not too far from town.

Mariposa Jungle Lodge was a wonderful place to stay and base for adventuring in and around San Ignacio. Blue Morpho Lodge was perfect for our family of six. Two bedrooms, a small but very functional kitchen (two burner counter stove, toaster oven, toaster, mini fridge and basic dish ware), and patio. Easy to get in to San Ignacio, to bidet for day tripping in Guatamala, and easy ride to beautiful outdoor sites like Rio on Pools.

What a wonderful stay!!! Our lodge (Iguana Lodge) was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, including the walking path and bird observation tower. We spent the mornings on our deck bird-watching (parrots, toucans, macaws). The pool was small and refreshing. Drinks were delicious (we did not eat on site, but the food smelled great). Hospitality and customer service was outstanding.

Overall nice property… however I would encourage them to post more pictures of the rooms and bathrooms. The bathroom was tinyyyy. And I am a 5’2 petite woman. Also it quite far from town and they will charge you a pretty penny to simply take you to town 20 minutes away… so please rent a car before going or else you have to book an excursion with them or pay for a taxi with huge tourist tax or you will be stuck on the resort!! Also expect automatic gratuity. Sign…. Food portions are also very small….But it’s nice to be in the jungle ig lol

Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. Rooms and the restaurant was very clean.. also a small gift shop on site was nice. The bungalos were very neat with a nice fans and air conditioning. Choosing this lodge was the best decision I made on our trip.
