We have stayed in the Lofts many times and always have a positive experience. It truly makes you feel like a part of the city and history of Old Montreal. The service is outstanding all around from easy check-in to any help you need along the way.

Lofts are in a separate building (only stairs ) with great proximity to many restaurants and shopping. Restaurants within hotel were excellent. Staff could not have been more helpful. Definitely will be back !

Property was lovely but if you book a Loft as we did, be prepared for lots of stairs. Staff was very helpful with everything. Restaurants are on the property. Clean, comfortable, we were totally satisfied.

Great location in an amazing city. Loft apartment was quiet, comfortable and provided outstanding facilities including a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel staff was superb. The adjacent restuarant Gaspar was a welcome and delicious respite after a long day.

The Lofts were an annex building just around the corner of the main Auberge du Vieux Port which we actually preferred in terms of location. We were just feet away from the main walking street Rue St. Paul so shopping, dining and people watching were at our doorstep. The building itself also was also home to Vieux-Port Steakhouse where they served breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food and cocktails were excellent and the vibe was always fun and friendly.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Lofts du Vieux Port. It was an amazing location, and the room felt like the perfect Montreal pied-a-terre. Couldn’t have asked for better! Unfortunately one of our windows wouldn’t open, and there was no hot water in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink at night time, but other than those minor things we would happily stay here again!

Beautiful old building overlooking the oldest street in Montreal. That being said, there is no elevators for the lofts, so be prepared to walk up some flights of stairs. The hotel personnel are very helpful and will help with luggage. Wonderful place to experience the essence of Old Montreal.

Well designed and very clean / modern and within the pedestrian area of old Montreal for shopping, eating, and exploring. Be aware there are a few stairs to walk up, so those with limited mobility should consider this.

Wonderful Modern Loft in Old Montreal!

We loved the loft - excellent location in Old Montreal. Steps from shopping, dining, churches, museums. The room was spacious with an excellent bed, amazing shower, and perfectly functioning A/C that was also sonically unobtrusive (if you're a light sleeper like me, this is wonderful). We also liked the clean, modern decor.

Non stop boom-boom-boom from nearby restaurants' music... we were offered a higher loft, but the hassle to move didn't seem worth it. The location is in the heart of old Montreal, the lobby is nice. The bed was excellent. But if you are sensitive to noise, even low level volume but with persistent bass from noon to midnight, you may want to stay somewhere several blocks away.
