Please note that there is no dresser or bureau to put your clothes when taken out of the suit case. Fortunately, I had 2 twin beds and the unused bed became my "clothing staging area."

Value for money hotel that could do with a refurb

The staff were great and very helpful. The location is undistinguished but practical for our needs. The hotel itself could do with a refresh - while it was clean, of course, the carpet in our room had stains and the TV was temperamental.

Don’t be put off!!

Great place to stay for short visit. 10 min walk to Odysseum shopping center including Ikea/restaurants/amusements etc and where you can take a 15 min tram ride into the heart of Montpellier. This was our 2nd visit and review would have been marked higher for our 4 night stay except for the following; on the 2nd night of our stay, the air condition unit dripped water down wall onto light switch and floor - not conducive to good nights sleep so ultimately could not use unit when needed. To be fair - staff were notified but could not get technician out due to it being the weekend. We were proffered a room exchange which was possibly on the 2nd or 3rd floor, however, not practical due to personal disability so had to decline. Secondly, could not close entrance door to room unless slamming shut. Withstanding the above, we would still recommend the hotel for short stays as it is reasonably priced with great access into Montpellier center. If booking, do ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor if possible.
Leaking air conditioner
Bowl put under air conditioner unit to catch water drips. Also, abutted to wall to catch water running down & adjacent to light switch.

Campanile hotel, Montpellier (Le Millenaire).

Hotel is well designed and equipped including rooms. Competitively priced, value for money. Plenty of room to park hire car. 5 minute walk to blue line tram, all day ticket 3.5 euro approx. Place de France area (tram stop) has cinema and excellent restaurants to choose from, all 5 minutes walk from hotel.

Quick stay- basic and clean

This hotel was great for a quick night’s stay after a late flight and before an early start the next morning. While it was nothing special, the service was helpful and the room clean. And the price can’t be beat!

"Good hotel for the value"

Nice hotel for the value. Friendly staff. Good to go into a fresh room when it's really hot outside. Good quality food, just a little bit too expensive. Lack of soundproofing in bathroom. It seems your neighbour is in yours!

Great place well done

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel didn't look much on the outside but it was great value for money. The staff were ALL great. Montpellier was a delight. And the transport was wonderful I will be recommending it and the hotel.

Comfortable hotel out of town.

Free on-site parking. Hotel room reached via lift or staircase onto outside balcony. We had good buffet breakfast both mornings. Kettle in room to make evening cuppa. Outside shutters making room dark. Good comfortable nights sleep.
