I recently stayed in a family suite at this hotel, which is supposed to accommodate 9 people, but it was far from a pleasant experience. First of all, there weren’t enough sheets or bedding for the pull-out bed or the bunk bed. We called the front desk multiple times to ask for extra sheets, but no one answered the phone, and when we finally got through, they didn’t even have enough available. It was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, the elevator was out of order, and we got stuck in the basement with no way to get out. We had to lug all of our suitcases up the stairs, which was ridiculous. The room only had one coffee maker, and considering the suite is meant to sleep 9, the amenities clearly weren’t designed for a group that size. The pool hours were another disappointment. It closed too early and didn’t open until late in the morning, so there wasn’t much time to enjoy it. On top of that, check-in isn’t until 4 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM, with no option for a late check-out. This made things even more inconvenient, especially with kids during spring break. Overall, this was a really frustrating experience, and I would not recommend staying here, especially for a family vacation. It was far from the relaxing getaway we were hoping for.

Wonderful staff. Very helpful nice people at this property. Water park is super cool and for being somewhat busy everything flowed well. Rooms could use some updating. There were no towel bars in the bathroom. Which isn’t a huge deal but seems weird for a water park hotel. I’d stay again. The slides are surprisingly fun.

The room we had was on 2nd floor and the room directly above us was very loud and disturbing from the time we checked in which was about 5pm until 10pm. I called the front desk to complain and they said they couldn't do anything until quiet time which is 10pm. They did quiet down but woke us all at 7am with all the disturbing noise again. Very unpleasant stay. Will not go back again. Also had to wait for over a ha l f hour for a luggage cart which i felt was unacceptable.

Avoid Staying at Hotel - Get Day Passes Instead

I have say I was VERY disappointed in our stay. Our reservation clear was for 4 people. Our room was set for 2 people in regards to towels and supplies. The fire alarm went off 3 times during our stay- twice during sleeping time and waking us up. Our room was on the main floor. The people above us were very loud. The walls must be very thin as we were able to hear their conversation as, their foot steps sounded like a herd of elephants over our room and continued well into the night. Their TV was so loud it woke me up several times Additionally, the mattresses in our room sagged and squeaked every time we shifted positions in bed. The electrical outlets in our room did not charge any of our phones over night. The breakfast was chaotic at best. Food was constantly empty. It took several requests for staff to refill silverware, napkins and food items. The waterpark was over crowded and unclean. Again very disappointed in our stay.

Good waterpark, subpar hotel

Water park was very nice and well maintained with friendly lifeguards. The hotel itself needed more comfortable furniture/beds, more lighting (we were in the largest family suite with 5 kids), and could have been better cleaned. For the price with the waterpark it was definitely worth it though.

There was a few light bulbs that didn’t work, bed frame was to the floor!!! Hot tub was a nice plus. Bathroom was spacious and it was nice that you could crack the windows for fresh air. Overall a good stay.

This was a pretty bad experience. First, yes, the hotel has been redone... but the rooms are so dimly lit and cold feeling that it's really off putting. Also, the 2nd room in the family suite has no heat so it's like an icebox. When we went to pull out the couch bed - it was completely covered in food. The bedding was so old and ratty that there were holes in the sheets. The waterpark was ok, really in need of an upgrade. Almost none of the water features in the little kid area were working and so if you're going with a child under 8, DON'T. There is one slide they can go on. Also, there aren't enough tubes so it's a mad race to get one and you better hang onto it. The pool "locker rooms" are not locker rooms... they are pretty much bathrooms with a few showers...nowhere to change or set clothes or anything. Lastly, bring a towel, because they will be out.
