This property looks nothing like the photos on expedia. The landscaping has not been touched for months and there are tall weeds everywhere. The locks on the front entrance are broken and the handle is taped. The lobby and stairwells smelled. Elevator did not work. WiFi did not work. Lots of people just hanging around outside the entrance. Felt unsafe and unclean.

Our bathroom had mold in it. I have taken pictures. There was no towel rack by the sink. The blow dryer fell out of the wall. The caulking around the tub is the worst job I have ever seen in my life and the door is all messed up at the bottom. There looked to be gang activity when we drove in on Friday night. Some of the windows do not have screens on them or the screens are flying outside with half hanging off the frame. It look very ghetto when I drove in and not like the pictures online. I feel I should be reimbursed for false advertisement of this establishment.

The shower was lukewarm at best. There were no towels in the room when we checked in. Everything about the hotel was old, dirty and tired. Poor maintenance. I tried to call them about something I thought I had forgotten in the room and there was a busy signal forever. Fortunately I found the item, but there is no excuse for leaving the phone off the hook

I knew it wouldn't be good given the low rate but it was worse than expected. It started with the downstairs bathroom with toilet paper and trash all over the floor. The elevator wasn't working so I had to walk up to the 3rd floor in a stair case filled with trash. Internet was not working. The bathroom toilet paper dispenser was not working so the toil paper roll was on the floor. The shower was luke warm and the device to turn the shower on was missing. The best was semi comfortable. It's probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in going back decades. There is obviously no pride in owernship by those who own this hotel.

Property had overgrown grass and weeds, trash was over flowing in trash cans. Room was not great patchwork on walls paint on tub. Ac did not work in the room. Room was not properly stocked with toilet paper in the bathroom. Bed needs to be replaced the springs can be felt. The box spring was not the right size for the bed. Elevator was not working. Whole building need to be renovated desperately.

Really? No towels!?

The hotel was reasonably priced for a weekend where all other hotels where charging outrageous prices because of local events (which I was not attending). So that in itself was an appreciated! BUT ... Something that's never happened to me at a hotel, EVER... Is that the hotel was out of TOWELS! Yes, you heard that correctly, they were out of towels! Checked into my room after an 8-hour drive wanting a shower looked around the room there were zero towels no bath towels no hand towels no washcloths nothing. Called the front desk they said they'd bring us something in 10 minutes after 30 minutes waiting went down to the front desk asked them for some towels and they said "we are out of towels"... and all they could say was sorry. Unbelievable! After going back and forth with them about when we could possibly get some towels (maybe around 9am the next morning!) my husband asked, you don't even have any washcloths or hand towels? ... And they said they did and gave us some hand towels. They didn't offer him up we had to ask, which was weird. Anyhow my advice would be that maybe someone working there could have gone to Walmart and picked up a couple dozen towels or something when they realized that the booked rooms has no towels. They said they were losing business and couldn't sell all the rooms because they didn't have any towels, it's just strange that a hotel wouldn't have enough towels for every room in the establishment! Other than that the stay was fine.

You get what you pay for

I'll start with something positive. The beds are comfortable and I liked the choice of pillows. The rooms are fairly clean. There was dried soap residue in the soap dish attached to the shower, I scraped some off with my nail. That's just to give you an idea that it was far from meticulous. The management is very nice and they offered to change my room when I pointed out some issues. The phone did not work to call the front desk during my last TWO visits. When I complained at the front desk, they sent a repairman up to connect the phone properly. Every time I flushed the toilet, it made a VERY loud high pitched noise. It was too much trouble to pack and change rooms, so I didn't flush often. I think one problem is that the previous people using the rooms don't report these issues, so they are not corrected for the next guest. That's giving the management the benefit of the doubt. This hotel is probably as good as some others with similar ratings, but less expensive because it's on the outskirts of Watsonville.

Staff was very effortless, my family and I were staying just one night ( two different rooms ) from out of town on a family vacation. The rooms were very spacious but the staff was very inconsiderate. We had no towels upon our arrival, asked for towels a few different times while given the answer of “we don’t have any” at the price we paid towels would have been nice

First they put us in a room that wasn’t cleaned, had no fridge, microwave or coffee pot. We asked to move rooms. Then that room had no towels so we asked for some n they were stained. Then there was no hot water to shower. Plus the bathroom light went out so we couldn’t see to use the bathroom. The showers were gross. At least the beds appeared to be clean.

1-2 star hotel at best.

the hotelsisa 1-2 star. lower price means lower income travelers. the receptionist did not tell me the password for the wifi or anything else other than checking in. the ice machine on my floor was broken. the icemachine on the other floor worked but smelled like mold. the hallways smelled like marijuana is being smoked in rooms,no smoking signs are in the halways. toliet in my room was realy low and small, i am only 5' 10" 200 pounds and felt like i was on a kids toliet. place is showing its age, needs newer carpets and paint. location is at the eage of town, only store walking distance is a am/pm,starbucks.

BAD HOTEL WON'T RECOMMEND !!!!!

We got 3 rooms , because we went to a family funeral services . But in the 3 rooms there were no towels , hair in bathtub , one of the showers was not working , etc .... We try getting towels for all 3 rooms and they only gave us a bath towel for each room , 2 hand towels , no wash towels and no mats .....you can't see the hotel's name because it covered in tall grass . Won't recommend if it were the only hotel left ....BAD 😕 too bad I didn't take pictures
