Pretty decent . Our room has a balcony but since we only stayed one night, we weren’t able to enjoy it to the fullest. The lodge though is outdated. It has a certain musty smell when you go in the room. Overall, it is fine.

There was a big brown ball of who knows what under one of the beds we didn’t touch it but we’re grossed out. There is no AC so it was very hot and smelled of mildew as well it was pretty off putting.

The place is very near to the beach which is very nice. We like the little balcony but it was a bit noisy from the neighbors upstairs from us. Over all good place to spend a couple of nights.

We stayed in room 211 which was at the end of the building allowing for both a front and side sliding glass doors. It was so nice allowing the ocean breeze to blow in, and very calming hearing the surf at night. The room was nice and neat with microwave, refrigerator, tv, and king size bed. We will be staying again during our next visit.

Great location for walking the shoreline. The room was hot, stuffy and musty. The only entrance to our room was a patio door. The screen didn't stay on the track or lock, and there wasn't a window or air-conditioner. I found a ball of hair on the floor that looked like it had been pulled out of a brush. We had two rooms. The day before the rooms were confirmed as being next to each other. When we arrived the desk clerk said that he didn't know why anyone would have told us that.

A hidden gem just outside of Monterey. After a full day touring the aquarium and Cannery Row with the family, we decided to stay here, and I'm so glad we did! Nestled into the surrounding woods, Olympia Lodge was a perfect beautiful balance of structure meets nature. Our kids were delighted to discover it carried Netflix, and we were delighted by the unexpected breakfast of croissants and organic juice boxes available in the lobby in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!

The location is very good, easy short walk to the ocean and easy driving distance to the cute downtown area. Staff was pleasant. Hotel is somewhat dated; they still use keys, for instance, and shower tile is from 80s. Price was quite reasonable

I rented the balcony with water view, i called prior to booking and when i arrived i noticed the locatand even confirmed with the staff of the ocean view and she said "yes you can see the water from your room" there was no wayer near. Location, staff, and distance to shopping was great. The room and hotel was outdated. Not what i was hoping for

The property is close to Pacific Grove GC. Property is in need of repair as handrails not smooth. Parking stalls not painted properly. No interior fans as warm during our stay in Monterey. Bed cover was torn needed replaced. We like the property but needs some tlc

This place was nice due to the proximity of the beach. Its walkable about 2 blocks. We didn't care for the room because it was stuffy kinda muggy, no a/c unit, no windows except for the sliding glass front door. No air circulation, there is a fan provided but you need to leave glass door open without being able to lock it overnight in order to get air into room. Also the ceiling in the room had alot of brown stains. All in all we had a good stay and woke up to a beautiful rainy morning
