Overall, we had a great stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, which made a big difference. The only downside was that our pillows were stained, and unfortunately, it was too late at night to request replacements. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful.

The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. Especially a very special staff member by the name of Carmela! She is the life of the party of the entire resort. She would get everyone into the party spirit!!! Carmela was especially great with my kids. Every time she would see them she would greet them with hugs, and high fives. I recently stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall and, honestly, expected much more for what’s considered a higher-end all-inclusive resort. We didn’t have hot water for most of our stay. The room was very dated and looked better in the pictures. While the ocean views and scenery were absolutely beautiful, the overall experience was disappointing. Some of the staff were kind and helpful, but others were surprisingly rude, which definitely impacted the vibe of the trip. The food wasn’t very good, and the buffet had flies around the food. The drinks were a major letdown. Everything was extremely watered down, to the point that even after taking several shots, we felt absolutely nothing. For a resort with premium pricing, you expect quality food and beverages, and this just didn’t deliver. I recommend skipping the all-inclusive option altogether and staying somewhere you can pay for quality meals and drinks as you go. You’ll likely get better value and a much better overall experience. The views are the highlight here—but unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to justify the cost.
