It was a lovely hotel with all the amenities needed for the right amount of days. I thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop views and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you are solo travelling.

I am glad it was one of the newer hotels especially in light of the heat wave during my stay. The airconditioning was strong. While breakfast didn't have variety day to day, it was good and offered broad choices. Staff was very helpful on a wide range of inquiries and requests. Great location too across the Bologna Centrale Station

Parking was a breeze, safe, and ample. Our room - junior suite - was spacious and very clean, with a fully stocked minibar. Breakfast is incredible, although it would have been nice to know that we could order an omelette a la carte. (We found out the last day.) Fried, scrambled, boiled eggs. Meats. Yogurt. Fruits breads cheeses. Almost any breakfast item you can imagine. The hotel restaurant is very good, although mainly meat based with a limited menu, but there are a couple of fish and vegan options. We were disappointed that they don’t allow dogs in the restaurant, even if the hotel itself is very pet friendly, and offers a cute, doggy welcome bag. They also have a nice grassy area for toileting. The bar has a great selection of top shelf liquor, and a variety of excellent, self-serve snacks, although there was a French couple repulsive enough to eat the olives straight from the serving dish, instead of spooning onto a plate. The bar has a very efficient staff, and was open late. Overall, I would rate this hotel as one of the best we’ve visited in Italy (and we live here!), and we will definitely be staying again when we visit Bologna in the future!

Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing hotel stay of our vacation through France, Spain, and Italy. We booked one night here before our early morning flight to London, expecting a comfortable place to rest. Upon entering Room #306, we immediately found that the air conditioning was not working despite temperatures of around 90°F (32°C). We also noticed two portable fans already in the room, suggesting the hotel was aware of the issue before our arrival. The room also had a strong musty odor. We reported the problem immediately and asked to be moved to any available room with working air conditioning, even if it meant our family of four sharing a smaller room. The front desk initially questioned whether the AC was actually broken, but after inspecting the room themselves, they confirmed it was not functioning. Unfortunately, there was no maintenance available, and no alternative room was offered. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of empathy. Instead of understanding our situation, the lady manager on duty responded with an ungracious attitude and an unpleasant stare, leaving us feeling like our concerns were an inconvenience. With an early flight the next morning, we had no choice but to book another hotel at our own expense and pay for an additional taxi. This was the only hotel during our entire vacation that failed to provide the basic accommodations we had reserved. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property based on our experience.
